How We Review Survey Sites
Two separate things appear on every review page: what other people say about a platform, and what SurveyFromHome has actually checked. We never blend the two into a single number.
Two ratings, never merged
External review rating is the score published on a third-party review platform, shown with the number of reviews behind it and the date we checked it. It is other users' opinion, not our assessment, and it can change at any time.
SurveyFromHome Score is our own editorial assessment. It only appears once an editor has scored a platform against the criteria below. Until then it reads "Assessment in progress" — we do not copy an external score into it.
What our verification statuses mean
- Verified by SurveyFromHome: A member of our team completed sign-up, surveys and a withdrawal on this platform.
- Reviewed by SurveyFromHome: An editor worked through the platform but did not complete a full withdrawal cycle.
- Research completed: We researched this platform against its own published information and public review data. We have not tested it ourselves.
- Limited information: We could not find enough reliable public information to describe this platform confidently.
- Not independently verified: Nobody on our team has checked this platform yet.
Review confidence
The confidence marker next to an external rating reflects how much public review data exists, not how good the platform is. A 4.5 based on six reviews tells you far less than a 3.2 based on forty thousand, and we label it accordingly.

What we will not do
- Invent payout amounts, earnings figures, country lists or bonus offers.
- Present a company's own marketing claims as verified fact.
- Describe a platform as tested unless someone completed a real cash-out.
- Let a commercial relationship change a score, a ranking or a warning.
Where a field is unknown, the page says "Not publicly confirmed" rather than filling the gap. Every review lists its sources with the date each was checked.
Warnings and disputed ratings
If a review platform displays a notice or warning against a company, we show that warning instead of a score. We report it as a fact about the review platform's status, not as our own accusation.
Corrections
Platform terms change often. If something here is out of date, tell us via our corrections policy and we will check the source and update the page. Commercial relationships are set out in our affiliate disclosure.
